Athlete Overview
Jessica Wright is an accomplished sprinter specializing in the 400m hurdles. A dominant force at Howard University, she excelled in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, claiming both Indoor and Outdoor Championship titles in the 400m and 400m hurdles. During her collegiate career, Wright earned NCAA All-American honors and set the school record in the 400m hurdles.
In 2024, Wright transitioned to professional athletics and was selected to represent the U.S. at the World Athletics Indoor Championships, where she helped secure a silver medal in the 4x400m relay. She also competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials in July and remains focused on achieving continued international success, firmly establishing herself as a rising star in her event.
